Helping employers with the Kickstart scheme
Here at Isme, our goal is to give 18-24 year olds the help and support they need to get their first opportunity in the workplace. The Kickstart scheme is designed so businesses can get an extra pair of hands by offering a six-month work placement, with the salary being covered by the Government.
Taking on a young member of staff can be daunting and time consuming, so we offer employers the support they need by handling all the employability training and development.
The Government will cover the cost of our fortnightly training, when your intern can learn career skills such as job hunting, CV writing and interview techniques.
Let’s have a conversation about whether Kickstart is right for your business…
“I have worked with Cathy on several client projects – predominantly to recruit people through the Kickstarter scheme. Cathy is wonderful to work with. She’s not only knowledgeable, organised & proactive, but also a generally lovely, positive human being to do business with. We have successfully recruited people into several different companies together and the process has felt stress-free and excellently managed. I have no hesitation in recommending Cathy and I am certain we will continue to build our working relationship in the future.”
